What a lesson with Lessi is like

The same four things happen in every subject, at every age.

  1. Explains one step at a time

Each idea is shown before it is named: on a board, with a picture, a diagram or a real example.

  2. Checks that it landed

Short questions along the way. When an answer shows a gap, Lessi goes back and explains it another way.

  3. Fits the learner

A preschooler, a high-school student and a university student each meet the subject at their own level, in Hebrew or in English.

  4. Leaves something behind

After the lesson: a worksheet to practise with, and progress saved on your learning path.

Good to know

Is Lessi a real person?

No. Lessi is a computer-generated character, an AI teacher. He is patient, never in a hurry, and checks that the learner understands before moving on, at whatever age.

How much does it cost?

Your first 60 minutes with the teacher are free, and no card is needed. The written lessons are free to read for everyone.

Which ages is it for?

Every stage of learning: the early years (about ages 3 to 5, with a grown-up beside them), primary school, middle and high school including Bagrut preparation, and university-level courses such as calculus, linear algebra and statistics. For a child under 13, a parent opens the account.

Which subjects can I learn?

Maths, reading and language (Hebrew, English and Arabic), science, history, computing, arts and more: over 190 subjects, from first numbers and letters to Bagrut exams and university courses.

Lessi is a computer-generated character, not a real person.
