Life Skills and Social Involvement
Life skills here has four topics: feelings, friends and staying safe for the early years (ages 3 to 5), friendship and falling out in grade 4, growing up, pressure and boundaries in grade 8, and the social involvement volunteering year in grade 11. Lessi, an AI teacher, teaches each topic live and calmly, at the student's pace, with short quizzes along the way.

About Life Skills and Social Involvement
The youngest children learn to name happy, sad, angry and scared, to calm down when feelings are big, and to share and take turns. In grade 4 the focus is how friendships are made and repaired: joining in, saying no, making up, and which grown-up to go to. In grade 8 it is naming a feeling precisely, holding a boundary without losing a friend, running your own week, and asking an adult for help, then a second one if the first does not hear you.
The grade 11 course treats the volunteering year seriously: choosing a placement you can keep, working beside people whose lives look different from yours, keeping the log, and saying what the year changed. The first 60 minutes with Lessi are free with an account.
