What is Lessons?
Lessons is a website where learners of every age, from preschoolers to university students, learn online with Lessi, a patient AI teacher. Lessi explains every subject step by step, with pictures, examples and short quizzes, in Hebrew and in English.
Which ages is it for?
Every stage of learning: the early years (about ages 3 to 5, with a grown-up beside them), primary school, middle and high school including Bagrut preparation, and university-level courses such as calculus, linear algebra and statistics. For a child under 13, a parent opens the account.
Is it suitable for preschoolers?
Yes. The early years (about ages 3 to 5) have their own short, ten-minute lessons: first numbers, shapes, letters and sounds in Hebrew and English, stories, colours and music, and feelings. Everything is said aloud and every answer is a single tap, with a grown-up sitting beside the child to help.
Does it cover university courses?
Yes. After high school come first-year university subjects such as calculus, linear algebra, statistics, general chemistry, mechanics and molecular biology, taught with full rigour, step by step, with worked examples at exam level.
How much does it cost?
Your first 60 minutes with the teacher are free, and no card is needed. The written lessons are free to read for everyone.
Which subjects can I learn?
Maths, reading and language (Hebrew, English and Arabic), science, history, computing, arts and more: over 190 subjects, from first numbers and letters to Bagrut exams and university courses.
Is Lessi a real person?
No. Lessi is a computer-generated character, an AI teacher. He is patient, never in a hurry, and checks that the learner understands before moving on, at whatever age.
